After much consideration,
I’ve decided that I want to start fostering rescue kittens.
Craig and I were looking into Toyger/Bengal kittens, but it’s a bit ridiculous. Yes, they are cute, but they are also
- made for shows and competitions, used as more of a profit than a pet
- can be anywhere from 500-1500 dollars, and the kittens who do not turn out “good” are usually put in shelters or get disregarded.
So, tomorrow we are probably going to go to different shelters and find a kitty to take care of and train until we can find the perfect owner for it. :) :)
